Victoria Julian-Gray

Fiber Arts - Wearable

Victoria Julian-Gray’s background was in the fashion industry, ski wear to be exact. She started a custom ski wear clothing line right out of college and ran it for 15 years, selling the product throughout the western states via art festivals where she won several Best of Shows in the mid-1980s to late-1990s.

Victoria has since switched over to “save the planet” practice using materials made from recycled items, at least 90% if not 100%. Wool Slippers, handbags,& other small bags are made by 100% recycled materials. Wool clothing and blankets are felted via the “boiled wool” method and then hand dyed for the wild colors. Appliques are used from the fibers and then each item is created and sewn together. Embroidery & bead work is added. As a result of Victoria’s recycling and hand-dyeing practice, each item is one-of-a-kind and can’t be duplicated.
