Tim Hallam
Photography
Tim Hallam is a nature and landscape photographer based in Southern Oregon, born and raised in Mount Shasta, California, where an early connection to forests, rivers, and mountains sparked a lifelong passion for the natural world. Tim bought his first camera at 15 and was fortunate to be mentored by a professional photographer who introduced me to the full photographic process from capture to print. After studying photography and metalworking at a community college, he spent nearly a decade as a welder and fabricator while continuing to photograph nature before transitioning to full-time photography in 2016. He regularly exhibits at the Lithia Artisans Market in Ashland, Art on First gallery, and festivals across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, and also teaches workshops in landscape, seascape, and wide-field astrophotography — guiding students through the planning, capture, and processing of compelling images.
Tim’s fine art nature photography is captured primarily in the Pacific Northwest. His photography primarily focuses on grand landscapes and wide-field astrophotography. Large pieces are printed on a partially recycled archival quality substrate using UV-Cure print tech. Smaller giclee prints and greeting cards are produced in-house using archival quality materials.
