Jewelry

PakHye Goods creates handmade landscape jewelry inspired by the Pacific Northwest, including Mt. Hood, Multnomah Falls, Crater Lake, Haystack Rock, Three Sisters, Mt. Saint Helens, and the Columbia River Gorge. The collection includes double-sided necklaces, earrings, leather bracelets, cuff bracelets, rings, and guitar picks. The pieces are all cut by hand, hand-painted with a special resist, and dipped into an acid bath. They are filed, sanded smooth, and clear-coated to preserve the finish.

Sue was born and raised in Iowa. Graduated with a BFA from the University of Iowa and a MFA in Sculpture at the San Francisco Art Institute. Moving to Portland allowed her to explore different avenues of art making and with a background in picture framing, Sue became an Art Restoration Specialist for disaster restoration for 10 years, then in 2016 she explored a new artistic endeavor making jewelry full-time.
