Sue Coccia has been a full time professional artist since 1995. Her focus is on conservation and on nature and environmental issues affecting animals.
Sue’s work is pen & ink (Micron pen) and acrylic paints on watercolor paper. She starts in the center and works her way to the outer edges, drawing in environmental elements and aboriginal symbols relating to the main animal she is drawing. The drawing depicts animal totems from around the world. Animal totems represent deep spirituality, and we learn from them by beginning to understand animal's qualities and traits.
