Roger Peet

PrintMAKING

Roger Peet created his limited edition silkscreen and relief prints entirely by hand, working in a small home studio and at the Flight 64 community nonprofit print shop. Hand-cut rubylith films and hand-carved linoleum blocks combine to produce warm and vivid images, which he uses to explore the tension and complexity of human relationships with the natural world.

Roger Peet is a Portland-based artist, printmaker, and muralist whose work addresses civilized bad ideas, predator-prey relationships, and the contemporary crises of biodiversity and capitalism and what can and can't be done about them. He is a founding member of the Justseeds Artists' Cooperative and helps to run the Flight 64 community print studio in Portland. He collaborates with artists, organizers and scientists across the globe in the service of a more generous and a wilder world.
