Wildflowers of the West: An Artist’s Guide
Wild Arts Festival welcomes back the award-winning and talented illustrator, author and art teacher, Molly Hashimoto. Molly certainly has an eye for the beauty of the natural world and has authored several stunning books, including Trees of the West and Birds of the West. Her most recent book is a gem titled Wildflowers of the West: An Artist’s Guide. In addition, Molly’s art has been published by Pomegranate Communications as calendars and note cards for many years. She’s passionate about connecting people to nature and cultural history through hands-on art experiences. Molly has taught outdoor seminars at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology on the Oregon coast, the North Cascades Institute in North Cascades National Park, the Yellowstone Institute in Yellowstone National Park and Yosemite Conservancy, sharing her love of our western species and landscapes with artists of all ages.
