Lee Rentz

Photography

Photographic impressionism is where art, architecture, and nature blend; a zen-like approach with creative selective focus and dramatic contrasts. Printed on thin Japanese mulberry paper and cotton rag paper. Presented traditionally with elegant wooden frames, cotton rag mats, and Museum Glass.

Lee grew up in Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan and got an MS from Utah State University. He worked for the Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service, then worked as an exhibits artist and later, Director, of Beaver Lake Nature Center in New York. For 33 years, Lee has been a professional nature photographer with published credits in National Geographic, Audubon, National Wildlife, and scores of other magazines. His work has appeared on covers of ten books, and he has participated in art shows all across America.
