Jenny Armitage

Jenny Armitage, of Salem, Oregon, is a self-taught Oregon artist working in watercolor and ink. She has been creating watercolor landscapes for 20 years. Currently most of her work is ink portraits, some of which may feel surreal to the observer. She is a signature member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, the Watercolor Society of Oregon and the Lunaria Gallery in Silverton, Oregon. She has displayed her work at numerous art fairs and shows in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
Jenny makes sgraffito drawings on clayboard with ink and scratchboard, scratching black ink off white clay to reveal white lines.
