Wonder of the Woodlands: The Art of Seeing and Creating with Nature

Belgian-born author Françoise Weeks inspires us to be creative and celebrate the woodlands in her new book, Wonder of the Woodlands: The Art of Seeing and Creating with Nature. As a floral designer, teacher, and author, Françoise has created an international following: she has taught in countries around the world including Mexico, Canada, England, Sweden, Iceland, France, China, and Australia. Wonder of the Woodlands "brings home the charm of the wild woods with “fairycore” — inspired ideas and creative botanical arrangements” and is born from the beauty of our natural, forested landscapes which Françoise so artfully finds and weaves into her art and instruction. Her book is rich with images of nature and offers the reader myriad ways to enrich their homes with its wonder. She has also authored The Herbal Recipe Keeper; she teaches, and offers online courses, including Zoom workshops. Françoise’s studio is located in Portland, Oregon and you can see her at the Book Fair on Sunday, December 8th. Please check the official signing schedule published by Bird Alliance of Oregon in case of changes before you head out.
