Bonnie White

Painting

Bonnie White paints the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest with a focus on the Columbia River Gorge using traditional transparent watercolor. Traditional transparent watercolor means without the use of other watermedia, ie., gouache, ink, acrylic, and the use of black and white pigments. All darks are mixed from other pigments and whites are the white of the paper. Her mats are hand cut and archival (including the prints).

Bonnie has been painting professionally for about 30 years in the Columbia Gorge area. She considers both Oregon and Washington home. She was born in Oregon but has lived on a small farm in Washington (right across the river) for the past 42 years. She expresses her passion for the beauty of her environment through watercolor.
