Acorn Party: A Pacific Northwest Counting Story

Audrey Sauble is a children’s author and science illustrator with a passion for exploring nature through picture books. She’s the author of Acorn Party: A Pacific Northwest Counting Story, as well as a series of fun nonfiction books that inspire kids to ask questions about nature.  Notable among these nonfiction books is A Bee or Not a Bee? This engaging picture book appeals to preschoolers, early readers, and nature explorers of all ages. It’s a great resource for learning about pollinators and can also be used to teach young readers about insect identification. Audrey started writing stories years ago, but swapped to writing for kids when her oldest was a toddler. She lives in Portland with her husband and two children (who sometimes agree to join her for bug watching, nature journaling, and other outdoor shenanigans).
