Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest for Kids

Wild Arts Festival is excited to present Ashley Erdely, author, longtime educator and nature enthusiast. Ashley’s engaging Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest for Kids helps readers 8-12 years of age learn about and love the region's most common blooms. Featuring over 50 wildflower species, this dynamic guide offers fun facts about wildflowers and their pollinators, and keys to identifying each flower. This is the perfect tool for the classroom and the perfect companion on the trail. In addition to teaching public school, Ashley’s passion for sharing her love of nature with children has led to the co-creation of a 6th-grade outdoor school program in Hood River County, the development of a curriculum for a private environmental education school, and support of preschoolers' nature education. Ashley resides in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge with her husband, daughter, and 750 species of wildflowers.
